Geraldton District Hospital
About
The Geraldton District Hospital serves approximately 5,700 residents over a 2,767-km2 region in Northern Ontario, including five Indigenous communities and the Greenstone Mine workforce. Our goal is to raise $1 million for the Geraldton District Hospital through the Ride to Greenstone event so the hospital can complete a number of important initiatives, including:
- Expanding and modernizing its laboratory facilities
- Replacing outdated x-ray and ultrasound equipment
- Purchasing a portable ultrasound for the Emergency Department
- Replacing outdated IV pumps
- Purchasing an oxygen filling station
- Expanding its long-term care facilities
- Adding mental health rooms
- Updating the hospital's IT and electronic record keeping infrastructure
Your support will ensure the hospital can continue to provide life-saving care to an underserved region. The Geraldton District Hospital is a registered Canadian charity (BN# 107427585RR0001).
